Saurav Joshi has joined Crayon Data to build and evangelize data-led ML products and managed services.
He comes with 20+ years of experience in building tech products, pioneering Big Data, AI, and machine learning adoption. He is also an expert in fintech and cloud server engineering. An alumnus of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, he also has a master’s degree in financial engineering from the National University of Singapore.
This is Saurav’s second stint with Crayon. In an earlier role, he was Group Head, Big Data and Machine Learning. Saurav started his career as a computer scientist at Adobe, followed by time at Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas. He also worked with Citi and Oracle.
Saurav’s areas of expertise include:
- Setting up a new business vertical of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Building a team of AI Researchers and Engineers to lead Product Development
- Conceptualizing, designing, and building Machine Learning architecture/framework to extract real-time trends and signals
As part of the senior leadership at Crayon, Saurav will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of technical projects for our client in the Middle East. His team will focus on building futuristic products and creating a landscape that will drive high revenue and build new revenue streams. Their success will be determined not only by the quality of the delivery, but also by the adoption rate of the product/service by clients.
